Description

An original 1st press of BOTTs on the UK CBS label from 1974. Matrix A2/B2 - 1st cut. The vinyl comes housed in an original maroon coloured cover with the Hamill write-up on the rear [all indicative of very 1st issue]. Also included is the heavy-card catalogue numbered inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) Very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a few light marks per side - nothing heavy or nasty looking. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with two deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of tracks per side - nothing invasive. Then, there's just a few slight ticks during 'Lonesome When You Go' & Shelter From The Storm'. Overall a very decent and enjoyable rendition.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely clean front with only a couple of minor blemishes and a couple of thumbnail creases. The rear looks great too with no issues at all. Edge wear is light for this title and the openings are still sharpish. The spine is in excellent condition with all text legible and barely any wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest handling. The start of a tiny split.
