This is the original issue from July 1962.

The label is of the rough CBS variety with centre boxed logo 33 instead of 33 1/3 near the bottom left corner of the logo & Shes No Good instead of Youre No Good listed as the first track.

The stamped Matrices in the run off are 62022 1A-1 & 1B-1.

Condition :-

The sleeve is in beautiful condition with no smoke yellowing on the non-laminated back just some light discolouration at the edges as a result of handling over time.
The sleeve is front laminated with round ended flipbacks & is folded over at the spine confirming a first issue. The CBS is a trademark text is at bottom right & Garrod & Lofthouse text to bottom right confirming a first CBS issue.
The spine is still clearly readable & the front also shows no evidence of fading or age yellowing. There is minimal evidence of general shelfwear & no edge scuffing at all to speak of apart from the lightest of corner scuffing.

This copy has obviously been stored very well indeed & would be graded VG+/EX-

The vinyl on this copy looks amazing . It is gleaming although obviously played and unmarked by any but the lightest of paper scuffs that are only visible upon very close inspection.
When played there is a certain level of ambient crackle evident although nothing excessive.
On the look of this record you could possibly grade it as an EX-/EX copy however due to the ambient crackle when play tested it has been graded as VG.

A very acceptable if not perfect copy of this fifty year old first press classic album at a seriously advantageous price!
