Bob Dylan - The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan - Columbia CL 1986 Mono - White label promo with timing strip.
Radio station advance promotional copy of Dylan's legendary "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan". The timing strip lists the four deleted tracks "Rocks And Gravel", "Let Me Die In My Footsteps", "Gamblin' Willie's Dead Man's Hand" and "Talkin' John Birch Blues". (The songs are not on the labels, the record or the jacket otherwise).
The matrix numbers are: XLP-58717-3A and XLP-58718-2A
Back of cover is stamped "Demonstration Not For Sale". The cover is a VG++. No splits to spine or top seam, and very light color scuffing to bottom seam. The timing strip is intact.
There is a half page insert that says "NOTICE Please note that on Side 1, Band 3 and Band 6 are reversed." But this is not true.
Labels are clean with no writing. Spindle holes are clean. The vinyl has one scratch 1" long on side two running between tracks one and two. The scratch is audible, but not distracting. There is no skip caused by it. Otherwise, the disc shows average wear and would grade VG+. See the pictures for details.
