USA 1969 Double Blank Cover ( See 1st photo, as someone has added "Bob Dylan Double Bootleg" is small fine pen to top right corner) Some marks/ foxing to cover as indicated in the photos.. This album is the 1st pressing, born in Los Angeles and now 47 years old.
The "GREAT WHITE WONDER" is not anywhere on the cover or labels; the story is that it started as a put on answering the Los Angeles shops where everyone asked about this strange album! Since then the GWW symbol has been linked with all kind of non official Dylan material, and has been used countless times to mention the man or his work
This album offers material mostly taken from 2 tapes. 11 tracks among the 26 privately performed in Minneapolis in December 1961, most of these songs are to be found on many other bootleg albums, except the great " Dinks Song" that was and the East Orange monologue. 8 songs from the Basement Tapes. The rest are outtalks from 63/64/65.
I am down sizing my Dylan collection of 30 years, as I will be retiring to the USA where our son lives as It will not be possible to take it all with us!
