From the collector standpoint...you're gonna want the Mono 1st on this title. Problem? By Summer 1969 Mono was very much on its arse - 'a niche format'. And these 1st mono's are, hence, quite difficult to track down. Big mono format indicator on the left of the labels. Pre-fix "M" next to the catalogue number. Matrix A2/B2. Thankfully, these early copies are pressed heavy and sound fab in mono. The vinyl comes housed in an original mono heavy-card cover printed by Upton. We have an original late 60's generic inner 'patents applied for'. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level  of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. By and large a really nice clean player - you can see why folk would want a solid mono press. Really nice quality audio. I detected a few crackles in one isolated spot per side. E.g. intro to side 1 [briefly]. A really enticing rendition - well worth checking out the mono 1st [even though it's harder to find].
Cover (Ex-) In beautiful condition and that front is looking pretty amazing. Completely unaged - totally flat - with not even one single crease. The original owner has taped the opening up. Now, that might put some folks off. But the way I see it is...they did a very neat job of it. Would that opening edge be looking so darn clean and sharp after 50 years of use.. I seriously doubt it! So, swings and roundabouts...Given the rear is unlaminated that's your usual problem area. But we are exhibiting hardly any ageing at all. And only very surficial handling along the top sector [very little at all]. Edge wear is practically non-existent. Openings are perfectly sharp and solid thank to the tape. The spine is 100% perfect. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity in part thanks to the heavy card employed in manufacture.
Inner (Ex-) Very little ageing. No splits.
