Original Basement tape - G.W.W.Rare US LP released in the 1970s on Bullfrog Records. There is no Cat. Number but matrix number is : MX36422-21.
This batch of LP’s are from a very recently acquired collection of all original late 60’s early 70’s pressing LP’s. There are around 200 albums I hope to list over the coming weeks some fantastic titles amongst them most over 45 years old!! I have hand cleaned and listened to every album and graded conservatively (as per usual) to give the most accurate grading I can. I hope you enjoy browsing or bidding on the titles as much as I have listening to them all.
Great White Wonder, or GWW, is the first notable rock bootleg album, released in July 1969, and containing unofficially released recordings by Bob Dylan. All songs from the "Basement Tape" recorded on April 12, 1967. It was the first time that these previously unheard of recordings came to the market; many more would be released in similar formats over the coming years, though most were single albums, not double albums like this record. The album was nicknamed the "great white wonder" due to the original pressing's plain white gatefold cover; newer pressings contain the name stamped on. This name or variations, such as "white wonder”, "little white wonder” would surface in later bootleg releases or in the initials "G.W.W." that were printed on record labels or covers.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause some light crackles throughout mostly noticeable between tracks and is in Excellent condition. Cover has light ring wear, age spots and light marks and is in VG+ condition.
