Hi there my friends!
Up for sale is a truly iconic and enduring LP with original "Like A Rolling Stone" advert hype sticker. An original first mono pressing of Bob Dylan's "Highway 61 Revisited" on Columbia.
LP has decent playback, I try to be as mindful and calculating as possible - thus, I grade it as a salient G+ and very low VG- at best. The LP plays through well, but there is audible surface noise. Not an abundance of defects, but record has the following challenges: - Bit of pronounced noise and 1 light pop/light skip near the end of Tombstone Blues. - 1 skip during the word "windowsill" on It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry. - 1 skip in the phrase "behind me when the game" on Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues.
And that is IT. Like I said though, some surface noise and I also see plenty of scratches personally. Some Ebayers would stamp this a VG but being principled and accounting for (in my opinion) a discernible enough number of scratches and those couple skips with light playback noise this is a G+.
Worth it though and great to add this original mono pressing and coveted, rare hype stickered LP to your collection. Overall it's actually a really decent copy to own. Think it will make a good playing copy. I have priced it accordingly.
