Description
Very rare original pressing of Bob Dylan 1963 and 1966 live performances, released in 1970 on purple vinyl with green label by Winklhofer Records. Fantastic condition for its age, sleeve and vinyl near mint. Sleeves were individually stamped, this one in red on the right hand side of the front, see pictures. Inner sleeve has a 1.5" tear at the top on one side.
Side A was recorded at New York Town Hall in April 1963, tracks are:
1. Ramblin' down thru the world
2. Bob Dylan's dream
3. Tomorrow's a long time
4. New Orleans rag
5. The walls of Red Wing
6. Hero blues
7. Who killed Davy Moore?
Side B was recorded in Dublin on 5th June 1966, tracks are:
1. Visions of Johanna
2. 4th time around
3. Just like a woman
4. Desolation Row
Dylan bootleg site Bob's Boots says:
"Winklhofer Records copied this album from LP 2 of Looking Back in 1970. It was the first of many incarnations of this famous title, and is a very rare version. The poetic title of this LP remains a mystery. It probably came from a rumor of a Dylan song title by the same name. The quality is slightly inferior to Looking Back, and the low grade vinyl used resulted in many presses with white-noises and pops.
"This original package came in a white jacket with a unique rubber stamp title. It had green full printed labels, and clear, colored vinyl that varied from the lightest pink through the reds to the darkest purple."
