Welcome to another Auction from PLAN 9 and RECORD FINDERS!

Up for bid is an extremely rare AFRTS Radio Show LP, one side featuring 5 songs from the Bob Dylan (from "Dylan")  and the other side features 3 songs from Rory Gallagher's LP "Tattoo." As per the internet:

AFRTS (Armed Forces Radio & Television Services) records are EXTREMELY RARE.  They were pressed in limited quantities on custom labels for their stations at military installations around the globe.  In absolute numbers, they pressed very few copies which explain why they are difficult to find.  Most were issued without covers and each LP typically featured one side each from two different artists because of storage limitations at most stations.  Sometime the pairing of the two artists is almost bizarre. These LPs are extremely collectible and highly sought after!

Songs featured are as follows : Side 1 (Dylan): Can't Help Falling in Love / Sarah Jane / Mr Bojangles / Big Yellow Taxi / Spanish is the Loving Tongue. Side two (Rory Gallagher): Cradle Rock / Sleep on a Clothes-Line / Who's That Coming. Etched matrix info reads: P 14359-S4 RL28-4 3-T-RC (Dylan) / P-14360-S4 RL28-4 3-T-RC (Rory Gallagher). LP is VG+, with light scuffs and light spindle wear. LP retains a nice gloss. There is some surface noise (some tics and light pops). LP comes in an open faced paper sleeve. This is a beautiful set! Buyer must pay shipping to return item back to us for a full refund. Item must be returned in the condition that it was in when we shipped it.
