An original 1962 mono vinyl copy of the Bob Dylan LP Bob Dylan.
1962 CBS – BPG 62022
I am selling a collection of Bob Dylan Original Vinyl’s, please check out my other auctions. All have been very well kept with no splits or tears on sleeves and the vinyl’s are in superb condition and look barely played.

- On back cover "BPG 62022" is left of CBS logo in top-right corner, with no mention of "MONO" as on later sleeves - On back cover sleeve printer is not credited, later sleeves credit "Garrod & Lofthouse" - "O/TI" (OT) UK tax code embossed around spindle hole on Side 1 label
Sleeve is in solid condition with very light age wear. Strong VG+
Vinyl is clean and looks to have had little play. EX
A visual grade is given, if there are any marks I will mention and play through. If the vinyl does not play well on your player I will take back, no problems.

This album now seems as remarkable as his mid-'60s breakthroughs. Like Presley's Sun Sessions, it is both the remnant of a lost rural America and the seed of rock culture. The music is primarily Dylan, with acoustic guitar, barking traditional folk, and blues. He was 20, a northern hick come to New York to be the next Woody Guthrie. It's amazing that at 20 he sings In My Time of Dying and See That my Grave is Kept Clean, not as traditional songs, but making their doom and resignation sound personal.
