Description
VERY rare LP, especially with the vinyl in this, lovely, condition. An ORIGINAL 1964 UK Stereo First Pressing on the 'Textured' Orange CBS '33' label.
WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS AN EARLY PRESSING WITH ALL OF THE 'EARLY PRESSING ATTRIBUTES. THIS LP HAS A THICKER FLIP-BACK LAMINATED FRONT COVER (LATER ONES DO NOT!) AND 'TEXTURED' ORANGE CBS LABELS WITH '33' LABEL TEXT (AGAIN, LATER ONES DO NOT).
This is the ORIGINAL CBS UK Pressing from 1964 and is in good condition. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is Stereo 62251 on the ORIGINAL 'Textured' Orange CBS label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo Pressing.
Record: At least VG+. The record has a couple of minor marks but they do not affect the sound at all and it plays well. Still has a nice sheen.Sleeve: VG+. The laminated flip-back sleeve has a few creases but is pretty clean and has no rips, tears, writing or stickers. It is a little 'tired' at the opening but nothing serious. Even the un-laminated back of the cover is in reasonable condition only a little grubby but no ring-wear, NO yellowing, and NO writing. Printed by Dawson Rossiter Ltd. Still has the 'stereo' sticker on the back.
CBS Inner: Comes with a CBS inner sleeve, advertising other releases.This is not the original inner sleeve. I think the original one was just plain white but i have included this inner sleeve as I think it adds to the whole package.
Labels: Textured. No issues.
