Description
Here is a rarely seen album of Bob performing several of Guthrie's VD songs. There are other songs on the record, including a few basement tape songs with The Band. There is writing on the back of the record cover, shown in photos. The front cover is fairly clean and the labels are unmarked, too. I doubt this record has been played more than twice. It never moved me. A fine addition for the committed collector.
Due to economic issues I am liquidating some of my personal record collection. This week I will feature rare albums from Bob Dylan and The Band. Most if not all of these records are boots, purchased by me in the early seventies. Rather than use Goldmine standard gradings for these, I will try to describe them as best I can. Feel free to ask questions. Please note that most of these records have writing on the covers and/or the vinyl. Please be familiar with these records and be sure to understand that the sound quality is usually far inferior to commercial grade sound recordings. These records are historically significant. I will try to note the sound quality in my description.
