You are bidding on an extremely rare version of Bob Dylan's 1969 bootleg, Great White Wonder.
This particular issue is one of the very early pressings with the distinguishable "Great White Wonder" stamp located in the off-centered left. The cover is in excelent condition for being nearly forty years old. Although all Great White Wonder covers are unique due to the hand-printed stamp, this one is particularly interesting. Instead of a plain white cover with a stamp, it seems that the person who did the stamping smudged paint in an artistic-like fashion over the front cover. It is obvious that the unique painting has been done by the original stamper because the shrink wrap is covering most of the cover.
The person who first purchased this record was careful enough to slit open the shrink wrap. The shrink wrap is still attached to the record, however, the record is NOT sealed into the sleeve.
The LP itself is in near mint condition. There are no visible scuffs on this record that I can see, and it plays extremely well on my turntable. I don't this this record has been played many times in the 40 years of its existence.
This issue of Great White Wonder is labeled as "Dupre and his Miracle Sound" and released by the Rocolian record company. I was told that early Dylan bootlegs were mislabeled for legal reasons.
