Bob Dylan double LP "Blonde on Blonde" UK Copy.

  Classic Bob Dylan  in the form of a double album titled "Blonde on Blonde" - (please see photo's for track listings).

The album is issued on the Orange coloured CBS recording label, the catalogue number is (DDP) 66012 (CL 2516/17 etc.).

Research leads me to believe this is an early issue UK LP, the following descriptive details match good the LP I am listing. This album was seemingly issued in the 1960's and is offered for auction on a sold as seen basis, I will try to include as much detail as I am able with regard to the overall condition.

• The Outer Gatefold Sleeve:

Remains in a  good state of preservation bearing signs of wear consistent with age,  the corners, sides and spine are all well preserved, benefitting from a laminate flipback based sleeve.(please see photos).The gatefold sleeve opens up to present NINE black and white photographs (others had seven) - again presenting in good order.

The Inner Sleeves:

Are both the original CBS orange coloured bordered paper based sleeves.There are pictures of other CBS albums of the time that were then available.Both sleeves whilst complete again have age related wear arising from Lp insertion/removal - one or two splits here and there but both fit for purpose.

The Vinyl:

Presents on all four sides and for their age with a good glossy sheene.Please see photo's

Side One:

A close visual examination under bright lighting conditions reveals several lightly based in character, visible hairline marks and also lightly based in character, visible hairline scratches, importantly, I have therefore played this side and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of good quality and faithful.As with any vinyl - even new one can detect the occasional crack consistent with surface marks or dust, some being louder than others, this is particular noticeable on quitter sections of the album such as on play-off's, intros and in between tracks that said it does not in my view spoil the listening quality of the vinyl. Again and on my equipment at no time have I detected any skipping,sticking or jumping on side one notwithstanding the marks I have mentioned. Kindly note though, this can vary from one turn table to another dependent upon the age and quality of the stylus in question.

Older vinyl in my view copes better with marks and surface scratches than lighter weight modern vinyl.

I have tried to capture the marks I have detailed - some are longer than others but as they are light in character it is difficult to capture them.
