Description
For auction is a great playable UK first press steeeo copy of Bob Dylan’s classic double LP Blonde on Blonde.
Original laminated gatefold stereo cover in VG+ condition. Minimal edgewear, no tears and fully intact spine. Only issue is small sticker on front. Original CBS inners in Excellent condition Records visually are only on cusp of G+/ VG- as have many scuffs, hairlines and a few feelable short scratches. However, when I played both records I was impressed by the sound quality which is close to VG+. There were no sticks skips or jumps. There was minimal occasional minor crackles. A couple of tracks have quiet clicking caused by the aforementioned short scratches. The sonic quality shows how well manufactured these 1960’s records were. Labels are in excellent condition with no tears or marks. They also have the all-important ‘33’ speed on them instead of the later versions which had ‘33 1/3’.
This is a very playable copy of an iconic piece of Rock history.
