A word about my self
I am not a record dealer I am a record Collector, I specialize in collecting original pressings of Bob Dylan records, this record is from my personal collection, I have only played it three times, the person I bought it off had had it in storage for at least 30 years in his attic in a sealed record box.
my own record deck is a LINN AXIS with an Ortofon 520 Mk2 stylus I listen via pair of Rogers LS7’s, a sensitive set up able to bring the best and Worst out of any Record.
In my opinion it is not possible to buy even a new record that is perfectly silent this is even more so if you have an expensive stylus and speakers..there will always be a degree of background noise however quiet..that is the nature of diamond/sapphire/metal on grooved plastic...if you want perfect silence between tracks you need to buy a CD copy of the Vinyl
Please view the photos so you can make your own mind up in regards to the visual condition
----------------------------------------------------
I check the Visual Condition of the Records under a very strong light
Side1: visually very clean with just a few very light whispy marks it still retains that rarely played shine and static cling
However there is one longer and light surface mark which is viewable under normal conditions which does not affect play in any way
Side2: visually very clean with just a few very light whispy marks (of which some are viewable under normal lighting conditions)it still retains that rarely played shine and static cling,
Side3 & Side4: it is really difficult to see any but the faintest marks, both sides look virtually unplayed still retaining full shine and static cling
------------------------------------------------------------------------
ALL Four sides play in EX condition (Record collector guide) a stunning sounding Copy ready to grace any audiophile turntable
ALL Four labels are spotless and show no discernable marks or spindle wear
The original CBS Die cut inner sleeves (one from 1966 and one from 1967) are in excellent condition with no rips, seam splits and only some very light creasing..near perfect
The Sleeve is a Stunning shiny original Stereo flipback in rarely handled condition with no laminate cracking, fraying, marks, writing/ sellotape etc...in strong EX condition.. spine is square and perfectly viewable..I have found one area with a small amount of light damage on the spine (please see photos)

I Use the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
Please note I will use + and – to denote grades inbetween the ones mentioned below and I do grade the cover and records seperately
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
