In this auction I am offering up the classic 1965 album  "Bringing It All Back Home".  This is the original MONO version on Columbia Records (CL 2328).  It has been kept in storage for 49 years, and almost looks like you just purchased it off the shelf.  The jacket is in EX+ condition (so close to NM!) and the vinyl itself is NM.  It has barely been played, if at all. It still has its original shrinkwrap surrounding the entire cover, minus the opening that allows you to remove the actual record.

This is NOT a re-release, NOT a reissue, NOT a counterfit, NOT a cut-out, and NOT a second/third/or fourth pressing.  This is the real deal, folks.  Don't pass this one up, I'm serious.  I really didn't want to have to sell this one at this time, but since hard times have fallen on the city of Detroit, I'm finding myself having to sell my most prized LPs just for basic necessities.  If you're reading this auction right now, you have found me at a very rare time indeed, where I need to sell the albums that really define my collection.  Consider the 7 days that this auction is available as a free pass to not only help enhance your own record collection, but to help me personally make it through some hard economic times.  We can both win big on this one, no matter how hard it is for me to part with such an amazing LP.

The Cover:

The cover of this album is for all intents and purposes, brand new minus one tiny corner bump (upper left corner).  Let me just say that this is BY FAR the most glossy album cover I have ever seen (along with my other Mono Dylan albums), and that's saying a lot for an LP from 1965!  It has been kept in a clear plastic bag to prevent any damage.  There are no signs of any wear on the cover except for a very small corner bump (the other 3 corners are still very sharp).   Since it is has been stored away for so many years, there are absolutely no signs of fading or discoloration.  This album has never been mishandled or mistreated in any way.  This nearly looks as new as the day it was purchased off the shelf almost 5 decades ago.  The colors have remained extremely deep and vibrant, and once again, the gloss from the lamination makes the record so glossy it took about 30 tries to photograph it at an angle that didn't have a blinding glare!  The single corner bump is the only reason I'm not rating the jacket "NM", which it most certainly would be!  Inside you will find the original poly sleeve which is keeping the vinyl absolutely pristine. 

The Vinyl:

The actual LP inside will be exactly what you would expect.  A perfect, pristine piece of vinyl.  The poly (or plastic) sleeve has kept this record free from sleeve scuffs or hairlines.  I have always found that poly sleeves keep vinyl in the best possible condition, and this one is a perfect example!  This would be the perfect copy of this record if you make vinyl rips of LPs onto your computer.  There won't be a single pop or click, obviously no groove-wear or distortion, and of course no scratches. You will be only the second person to have ever played this LP (the original owner only played it a couple of times), and the amazing sound you will get from it will validate this.  Truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Any fan of Bob Dylan, or any record collector in general would be proud to own this classic album in such a special condition. Unless you don't particularly like the music on the record, you will not be disappointed about any aspect of this purchase!  This is as "new" as you will EVER find this LP, because well, it pretty much IS new.  Its obvious that the original owner barely played this at all.  Auctions like this simply don't come around very often (if ever), so you must ask yourself if this is the kind of item you want to pass up and let slip into someone else's hands.  Can your record collection stand to be without it?  I want to make sure that this 49 year old gem ends up in the hands of a TRUE collector that will appreciate what I'm offering here.  This auction is only for serious collectors, so please decide if this applies to you before you make your bid.  There is no way you will be dissatisfied with your purchase, and I know you will treasure this.  Good Luck on this one, you could end up getting it for a steal!
