Description

Vinyl records pressed in Lebanon are extremely rare and very hard to find items in any condition, produced for a few years in the late 1960's until forced to stop by the onset of civil war in 1975. All the international artists and bands were popular in Lebanon, and only a few copies survived the last thirty years in very good condition, including limited editions of multi-colored 7" singles and unique white label samples for radio and club DJs.

Bob Grant is an australian born lebanese singer-songwriter who was part of the lebanese mod/garage/psych scene in mid 60's beirut. This is one of the 2 releases i know of. The 1st track is a cool funky groove, b side track is a loungy hammond drenched kind of bossa nova that's reminiscent of french singer Claude Nougaro.

The record looks great, just a few barely visible marks. It plays very well and sounds very nice throughout.
