Bob James  ' Explosions '  ESP 1009 (USA) stereo black and grey picture label - rec. at Bell Sound Studio in New York on May 10, 1965 - originally issued in 1965 - this is the 1975 ESP reissue with the address '290 West End Ave New York'  on back cover - on the trail-off (dead wax) has stamped the date '9-4-75'        Bob James : piano - Barre Phillips : bass - Robert Pozar : drums  plus tape Bob James (track A1), Gordon Mumma (track A2) and Bob Ashley (track B2)

Visual grading : record is EX full luster very light wear. Clean labels with minimal spindle wear  Playing grading: record is EX plays very well with loud and clear sound. Has few very light occasional ticks Cover grading : cover is EX- has light wear to the spine which has the titles still readable. Has a small spot in the lower left corner of front cover
