Released in 1971 on Capitol Records, Since There Were Circles stands as a brilliant and deeply moving cult masterpiece of the country rock and loner folk movements. Departing from his earlier 1960s folk pop styling, singer songwriter Bob Lind delivered a darker, deeply introspective set of songs backed by legendary Los Angeles studio players including Gene Clark, Doug Dillard, Bernie Leadon, and bassist Carol Kaye. Notable tracks like City Scenes, Loser, and the beautifully orchestrated title cut display incredible songwriting depth and lushly arrangements that remain highly celebrated by roots music collectors. This original promotional copy features a standard vintage promotional hole punch in the top right corner.
