HOLY GRAIL! Super mega rare clear vinyl pressing of Bob Marley and the Wailers "Exodus" album. This is an original Jamaican Tuff Gong pressing from around 1977-1979. During these years they experimented with colored vinyl but the quantities are unknown making them extremely scarce - also considering in Jamaica at the time people played these to death and the weather would also be a factor in the preservation of them. Still not known to this day how many are still in circulation. Same as the "Catch A Fire" pressing I have up - I've seen maybe two of these show up in the last 20 years.
This is an archive copy for me. Bought it in 2008-ish. Played once. The vinyl is immaculate considering its age and scarcity. With all colored vinyl there is a little surface noise. The cover is in ok shape but can easily be replaced / upgraded with an original jamaican pressing cover of the era for cheap. It's the vinyl that makes this so valuable and impossible to find. This is for the real deal collector. Its been stored with the vinyl outside the cover. The cover has been stored double polybagged and vinyl stored in a dust sleeve.
