Bob Marley And The Wailers: Uprising LP
The UK original pressing with textured (non glossy) sleeve purchased by me when it was released 38 years ago in 1980. It has been very well looked after in my personal record collection ever since so please take time to scroll through all the photos on the listing and message me if you have any questions. It comes with the original plain black poly-lined sleeve that has kept the vinyl in great condition and static free. No splits on the sleeves and no biro or writing on the labels. A lovely copy.
I have just cleaned it in my professional record cleaning machine with the award winning L'Art Du Son fluid so it is now free from all dust and static and in the best possible condition ready for the new owner to enjoy. After cleaning I test played it all the way through on both sides on my Project Debut Carbon turntable fitted with an Ortefon 2M Blue stylus. It sits nice and flat on the deck and plays through beautifully with a lovely dynamic sound, its a superb sounding record and very well mastered. The sound stage really opens up when you crank it up nice and loud. I have had a couple of the Bob Marley vinyl reissues released in 2015 that were mastered from digital files and in comparison to the UK original there is absolutely no contest. The warm analogue sounds wins hands down with far superior dynamics and instrumental separation. Expect minimal vinyl crackle with only a hint here and there on the quieter sections and the run ins. Absolutely no skipping, sticking or jumping.
