Item Description:
Isalnd Records SW-9329 (stereo) (made in USA) - The Wailers - Catch A Fire LP released in 1973. This is an original first pressing with a pink rimmed Island label (Capitol manufactured and distributed). The cover is made to look like a zippo lighter.
This was the first Bob Marley record widely distributed outside of Jamaica. It is the record that made him an international superstar!
The condition of the record is near mint. The cover is in excellent VG+ condition, spine and seams are intact and not split; the hinge of the "lighter" is unbroken. There is a neat round hole through the upper right corner of the cover indicating that this is a promotional copy not a "cut-out".
