Description

A QUICK MESSAGE TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS , I AM NOW BACK WITH A GREAT SELECTION OF MANY VERY RARE RECORDS AND OBVIOUSLY MY USUAL AND OTHER VERY COLLECTABLE 7" AND LP RECORDS AND COLLECTABLES WHICH ARE FROM MY OWN PERSONAL COLLECTION WHICH I HAVE NOW DECIDED TO COMPLETELY SELL OFF , I HAVE LOTS OF FANTASTIC RECORDS TO LIST SO PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON MY LISTINGS , MANY THANKS .
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OF MY 7" AND 12" VINYL RECORDS ARE PRO CLEANED ON MY PROJECT VACUUM CLEANING MACHINE , THANK YOU .
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL RECORDS , CD's , CASSETTES AND DVD's ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED FROM START TO FINISH ON BOTH SIDES AND INCLUDING ALL SIDES FOR ALL DOUBLE AND TRIPLE ALBUMS AND BOX SETS ETC THANK YOU .
Please note that i do tend to use in and around the " Very Good / near excellent Condition " grade for most of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . The only exception to this is if the record does have scratches and lots of marks etc but is very rare and collectable and will be described in greater detail . I never use " Mint " or " Near Mint " unless the record is unopened from it's original shrink wrap and is clearly unplayed . Even with these i am wary because if the record has been stored for years in maybe a damp garage or loft etc and has not been opened , then we can only presume it should be mint because we obviously can't actually see the record . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is why i use between Very Good and near excellent most of the times . This is also why i do go into great detail with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use " Excellent Condition " sometimes , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much at all , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest and small surface hairline marks only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent . Lots of my records as you can see by my feedback are better than described , ie better than very good and closer to near ( if not actually ) excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , this is why i do use mainly between Very Good and near excellent , but with very detailed descriptions also of which i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , please don't forget though , that all records will obviously vary in sound quality etc on other set ups depending on the quality and type of turntable / amps and stylus etc that are being used , but please do check out all of my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

Bob Marley Is This Love 7" RARE Single Sided Test Pressing 1981 ? See Details . I must admit , i am a little confused with this one ! , it plays " Is This Love " but the date stamp on the label says 7th May 1981 ? , obviously we all know that this was released in 1978 . The run off is machine stamped WIPX 1782 2U and these do tally with most of the UK numbers i have seen and checked ( i think there were a few different ones ) , there is also what looks like a sideways stamped letter G at approx 3 o'clock on the run off and what looks like the letters GD and the number 1 at approx 9 o'clock on the run off ( obviously depending which way you are looking at the label ) , these are on the playing side , on the non playing side there are the letters LPFB stamped on the run off at approx 6 o'clock and what looks like the number 2 at approx 9 o'clock and what appears to be three number 1's each on top of each other at approx 3 o'clock , again this depends how you are looking at the label . There is writing on the playing side label as seen in the photos . I must say , i'm not a big Bob Marley or reggae fan so my knowledge unfortunately is very limited , but i know he died on May 11th 1981 so i am just wondering if this possibly going to be re released shortly before his death ?? which would loosely tie up the dates , or if the stamp was just put on at a later date by mistake ? , i haven't found any of these available so i couldn't do any further checking , i'm just hoping the more expert and avid fans will know about this one .
COVER: New plain white paper sleeve . It did come with a plain black paper sleeve when i got it , similar to the old Island Records ones , i have shown this in the photos , i will also send this , it is in good condition , it has some small writing in what looks like pencil on the inside of the one opening edge , a few very light creases and dents and two or three surface marks on the one side , obviously i can't confirm if this is the original sleeve .
LABELS: Solid centre creamy coloured paper labels generally in very good condition , i only put this as there is the mentioned date stamp on the one side along with some small writing and a name ( please see photos and using the zoom facility ) , there are just a very few usual but light only spindle marks .
RECORD: The overall visual grade of the playing surface under normal average household light conditions is a very strong excellent condition with just a couple of very very light , very faint and small non feelable whispy type hairline surface marks and just a couple of also very faint small non feelable non sounding surface marks , these really are barely visible under normal light conditions , there are no nasty deep feelable gouges / nasty deep scratches whatsoever , i will also say that these very very very few extremely light and faint surface marks are really only very slightly more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light , if i had to be picky , then there is a bit of " dishing " to the record , but i must stress that this did not give off any adverse or uneven arm lift etc ( the arm really did barely move ) and it certainly did not affect the play or sound quality at all when i tested it on my deck , i actually doubt that most people would not have even have noticed this when playing it or bothered mentioning it , but as you know , i do like to be thorough with all my descriptions , there are just a very very few , again very light and faint mostly hairlines on the non playing " B " side , this one really is a very nice and clean example . Please see below for audio description .

AUDIO A SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but very very very light noise . It plays superbly , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really nothing in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , there was no nasty crackle and no nasty ticks , there may just have been the odd couple of faint isolated pops in places that i may have missed , actually the majority of this side does play close to virtually noise free on the music !. Silent run off has some usual but again very very very light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic and the audio tones are still awesome .
AUDIO B SIDE: N/A - Single sided record .
There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a great overall shine . Any noises tend to be in short bursts only , are over quickly , are not constant and do not spoil any enjoyment . If any noises are more frequent or louder etc , they will be described separately in the above detailed descriptions thank you .
All in all a very nice overall example of this now very collectable item together with super overall sound , do turn this one up and enjoy ! . Thank you very much for your time and interest and happy bidding . Please do read the following ref record gradings explained thank you .
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch , some forms of noise will more than likely be heard in places especially on the quieter parts and the odd tick or pop may also be heard in places especially on the quieter parts , but none of this will overpower any of the music in any way , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Very Good / Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows no overly excessive play wear . There will be some light only surface marks though most will be just fine hairlines , there will be no major deterioration in sound quality at all though some amount of light noise / occasional light pop may be present in places especially on some of the quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , the record will play through perfectly , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows only light signs of this , a few of the lightest non feelable surface marks being mostly very fine hairlines will be present , but it displays no deterioration in sound quality . Some brief bits of very light noise and very occasional usual light pop maybe present in places and would be acceptable on some quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Excellent : The record shows some signs of having been played , but there is very little lessening in sound quality , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail. Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Please note that whilst I haven’t increased my postage charges for quite a while now , this now other recent price increase , has seen me unfortunately have to put a slight increase on my postage charges . This is also topped with the rise in cost for quality card mailers , jiffy bags , stiffeners , other packaging materials etc . Please also note that I now send ALL non GF LP’s / 12" singles with a minimum of 3 stiffeners and all 7" singles with a minimum of 2 stiffeners ( more if i think they are needed ) , with all the other material costs etc , all of this whilst not sounding a lot , does soon mount up and i actually do end up losing money on postage , but I do obviously want to still remain competitive and still offer my usual top quality service , sorry again for this , thank you .
