Ultra Ultra Rare Bob Marley & The Wailers 1992 Tuff Gong Limited Jamaican pressing of Songs of Freedom Box Set on 8 VINYL LP's. I've only seen two or three of these VINYL box sets go up for auction in the last six years.
Sound tested on United Audio turntable with 505.V3 stylus. Noticeable flaws: 1. Very very slight tick throughout War 2. Intro on Slave Driver, first approx 5-10 seconds, rest of song played flawless. 3. Last approx. 15-20 seconds of Time Will Tell damaged by scratches. ALL REMAINING TRACKS LOOK AND PLAY AS NEW. Nice high gloss and super heavy pressing. Records are super thick, much heavier than any 180 gram vinyl I have. Looks like extra wax was used during Jamaican pressing.
Vinyl is in EX condition with exception of flaws listed above. Sleeves have minor edge splits due to the extraordinary weight of the two LP's per sleeves, but front covers are EX. Box has very minor split on bottom of box and is in VG condition. Inner Booklet, containing photos of Bob's birth home of Nine Miles and back ground history of songs, is in EX condition and shown in the photo. LP number 6 (side 12) has the same LABEL for both sides, but vinyl is correct. Accident with the labels makes this set even more unique and rare. I purchase lots of vinyl off of ebay and don't like surprises with sound quality so I have listed above all flaws heard during play back on my turntable.
