Bob Marley: Catch a Fire LP (Jamaican Mix)
Please just read the below before clicking to buy.... Brand new 2023 limited numbered edition (3384) pressed at the legendary Tuff Gong International HQ in Kingston, Jamaica. This version is the so called ‘original Jamaican mix’ recorded by Bob Marley before the overdubs were added by Chris Blackwell at Island Records in London to become the album we all know today. Many prefer this mix with the effects and overdubs removed, I definitely do and it also includes 2 additional tracks left off the original release as a bonus too. It has never had a widespread vinyl release before and again is a limited numbered edition here.
This is a brand new record still in the shrink, but please be aware I have just very carefully slit it open to inspect the vinyl inside so it is no longer fully sealed. There are lots of reports on discogs of bad pressings and filthy vinyl and other manufacturer defects so I’d sooner discover this now before I send it to you, rather than deal with the hassle of returns.

Well this must be one of the better ones with no obvious pressing defects or visible scratches and pristine vinyl not like some of the reports by others online so you can buy with confidence. Its not the flattest record I’ve ever seen, but I would certainly not describe it as warped either.
Whilst inspecting I also just cleaned both records in my professional record cleaning machine with the award winning L’Art Du Son fluid as you should always wet clean brand new records to remove all the chemical residues left over from the pressing plant which will fully open up the sound and remove those annoying clicks and loud pops. It is now free from any static and in the best possible condition for the new owner to enjoy!
