Description
Hello from purplegallinule - I am a vinyl enthusiast and have been buying, selling and trading records since the mid-1970s and I have always applied high standards and taken extremely good care of my vinyl.
All the records are wet vacuum cleaned before being thoroughly play tested and housed in brand new high quality poly-lined inner and protective outer sleeves.
Although considerably more of a music fan than an expert, I certainly know my way around vinyl records well enough to say that you can buy from me with confidence and with also being a collector, my policy is simple - if I wouldn't be happy to slide absolutely any of these records straight into my own personal collection then they will not be listed for sale on here - all I would ask of you is for a chance to put things right in the unlikely event that you are not fully satisfied.
All records are sent out a.s.a.p. and packaged thoroughly in bespoke mailers with rigid card stiffeners to avoid any creasing or bumped corners and I am always very happy to combine postage.
Please note that I grade everything as 'Excellent' for the purposes of the listing as gradings are so subjective I personally never pay them much attention so please see the details below for an appraisal of this record.

Bob Marley & The Wailers - 'Survival' - original 1979 vinyl album in excellent condition. The run outs are stamped ILPS - 9542 A-1U / B-1U and etched 'Graeme'.
The vinyl is in excellent condition with only very light superficial hairlines visible in bright light and this visual condition is well reflected in the playback. I played this record right through this afternoon and the audio is delightfully crisp and detailed throughout.
The heavy card sleeve carries superb artwork and photography and is in excellent condition, just a little light wear and creasing, but this is still a good looking sleeve which presents really well in its brand new heavy duty protective jacket.
The heavy stock lyric inner sleeve is in excellent condition though the vinyl is now housed in a brand new poly-lined inner sleeve for safekeeping, much kinder on the vinyl than the original heavy card inner and conserves the original.
A good looking and sounding totally original copy of this 40+ year old vinyl album.
