Bob Marley and the Wailers - Catch a Fire LP 1973
Island Records: ILPS 9241
Matrix: A-3U & B-4U
UK Release
Vinyl is in 'good' condition, there are a number of marks a scuffs on both sides, still plays OK but does have pops and crackles most of the way through, although it doesn't seem to skip or jump on my player. Has the name 'Bob' on the 'A' side of the label.
Sleeve is in 'very good' condition, has an old sticker mark on the front cover and there is general wear ant tear around all four sides. However the 'hinge' still works perfectly and there is no unwanted names or writing on the back or the front.
In summary, quite a long way from being anywhere near 'excellent' however it is better than just a collection filler.

I try to be as accurate as possible with my grading of the records, based on the guide in the Record Collector magazine, but occasionally peoples perception of a record are very different. In this case if the record is far removed from the discription I put, then I will give a full refund.
In other words if I haven't put 'Mint' or 'Excellent' then it isn't.!!!
Grading:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition
Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.
Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deteriation in sound quality, despite slight surface marks andthe occasional light scratch.
Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor/Bad : Forget it!!!!!
