Bob Marley and the Wailers Live! Lp - 1st US pressing?. Sent with Australia Post Standard.
Fairly certain that this is a 1st US pressing from 1975 - catalogue number ILPS 9376. Check out the Discogs website. Can't say that this is one owner since new, but it might be. I've had it for decades, but can't remember where I bought it. I certainly had a substantial collection in 1975. The vinyl has a few surface scratches, but a close listen with my ageing hearing could not detect any audible defects. The label is clean with virtually no spindle marks. Given no audible defects, it's probably VG+ on the Goldmine rating scale, notwithstanding surface scratches visible under a bright light.
The cover unfortunately is a cutout. You can see the missing corner in the relevant photos. Other than that, the solid stiff cardboard is in good nick. There is slight ringwear noticeable if you hold the cover up to a bright light on an angle, but otherwise invisible. There are a couple of other very minor defects. If not for the cutout, I would rate this VG+. Note that there is no poster with this record.
So, a piece of reggae history from one of the best from my diminishing personal collection. Sigh!
Records are sent in a double layer of rigid cardboard with the vinyl external to the cover to minimise the risk of compression damage to the cover.
