Description

Very Rare iconic 1st US stereo press from 1959. Iconic Halloween record.


Does not come with its original inner sleeve. Bonus clear plastic inner and outer sleeves are provided.


Test played. I would grade this overall a G to G+. There are lots of pops, clicks and surface noise but the music sounds good despite that. There are no skips. There are three loud consecutive pops on the first track “the Mummy.” The are also some softer pops on the songs “I Dig You Baby” and “Frankie and Igor.” The songs on the second side are in better shape.


Sleeve has a divot on it to the right of the word “Songs.” The top seam was split but repaired.


This vinyl LP is a must-have for any Halloween or horror rock enthusiast. Featuring the iconic duo Bob McFadden and Dor, this first edition and first pressing of "Songs Our Mummy Taught Us" is a rare find. The 12" record with a black vinyl material and full-range fidelity level boasts a speed of 33 RPM and stereo number of audio channels.
