Description
Private pressing #KB 1843/1980/2193. Series of 3 early 1960’s 10” 33 1/3 rpm records issued by Wheaties/General Mills of Olympic gold medal pole vaulter, Bob Richards speaking on ethics, teamwork & enthusiasm in business & sports. He also gives short bios of other athletes including Johnny Unitas, Bob Cousey, Knute Rockne, Bob Mathias, Rafer Johnson, Roy Campanella, & Bob Feller. Richards ran for president of the U.S. in 1984 on the ultra right wing “United States Populist Party.” All 3 vinyl are in VG++ condition. There are no official covers; they’ve been housed in plain sleeves.
