Description
This listing is for a very rare vintage vinyl LP of the album by Bob Seger called Back In '72.
This is a US first pressing that was released in 1973 by Palladium Records & Reprise Records with catalog # MS-2126.
This record comes from the collection of a former record store owner who's owned it since they received it new in 1973.
Since then it's been properly taken care of and was only taken out of storage very recently. Before that it had not been played in over 40+ years.
Record Condition:
Only minor visible surface wear is present in the way of some light paper scuffs.
Clean center labels.
Vinyl still has a very nice gloss.
There's also some light dust/dirt and a few finger print smudges, so a thorough cleaning would remove that and probably brighten the sound even more.
Industry Grade: Solid VG+.
Jacket Condition:
Moderate signs of shelf wear present on edges, spine, and corners.
Ring wear is present on the front and back covers.
No seam splits or any other major defects.
Inner Sleeve: Original paper inner sleeve (but I will ship this record in a modern inner sleeve outside of the jacket for shipping purposes).
Industry Grade: Conservatively I'd grade the jacket as a stronger VG.
