Rumoured to be unreleased / withdrawn, a rare 45 by the great Bobby 'Blue' Bland on Duke 336.
'Don't cry no more' b/w 'How does a cheating woman feel'
Photos show condition of labels, vinyl is in excellent condition.
A copy of this 45 recently sold for $292 !
I'm starting this 10 day auction at $9.99 to let the bidders decide it's true value......it's a tough 45 so don't be shy with your bids mind!
Included for FREE, is a custom made, stainless steel Duke 45 adaptor, limited to a manufacturing run of 50 units last year, most of which have long since sold to collectors.
Added to pics is a Billboard Ad. that Duke Records apparently ran in July 3, 1961 (p.31)....guess this validifies that the 45 was supposedly withdrawn in favour of the release of Duke 340, which featured 'Don't cry no more' b/w 'St. James Infimary'
That's as much as I know folks......found this copy in L.A. recently.....pic of matrix details match Duke 45s of similar age......I'm 100% sure this is an original copy.
