RECORD: EXC (strong)
NOTES: Record looks and plays beautifully. Just a whisker away from NM with my super strict grading. Includes promo insert sheet. The cover has several inches of seam wear with tearing near upper right corner (see last picture).
GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.
I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
