Bobby Demo More Ounce Rap, Amherst Records ?AMHD-6 Rare Electro Funk LP VG+/NM
Vintage 1981 Modern Soul / Hip Hop / Electro Funk LP entitled "Ounce (Rap)" performed by Canadian Hip Hop & Funk duo Bob Boyer and Demo Cates aka Demetrius Cates. Pressed and distributed by large US based indie label Amherst Records.
Sleeve is graded as VG with noticeable bumping and shelf wear along the sides, edges and covers with personalized name sticker on the front cover, and a retail price cut on the right. Sleeve is overall clean and intact.
Record has been cleaned and visually graded conservatively as VG+/NM with mild surface wear on both sides with stamped name of original owner on both labels. Vinyl is Black and reflective and looks to be in overall very good / near excellent playing condition with minor surface flaws.
OUR GRADING SCALE IS AS FOLLOWS:
G - Record will have noticeable to heavy surface and/or label wear (deep groove scratches, torn labels, multiple hairlines etc). Record is still playable, but heavy background noise ie. Static/Pops/Clicks are certain.
G+ - Record will have slightly less surface and/or label wear than a G grade. Vinyl is slightly reflective and the record will be visually in acceptable playing condition. Background noise ie. Static/Pops/Clicks are certain.
VG - Record will have moderate surface wear and/or minor label wear (medium hairlines, minor marking on labels, light scratches etc.) scattered background noise may be present.
VG+ - Record will have minimal surface wear and/or minor label wear (Small hairlines, minor label wear, faint scratches etc.) The record has definitely been played but has been well stored and cared for. A medium amount of background noise may or may not be present.
VG+/NM - Record will have little surface wear, but not enough to have a true NM grading. Vinyl will be reflective and visually in overall very good playing condition with minor surface wear to vinyl and/or labels (handful of minor hairlines, small amount of general surface wear etc.) A small amount of background noise may or may not be present. A majority of records in our stock carry this grade.
NM - Record shows almost no surface wear with clean labels and reflective vinyl (one or two small hairlines but no less). Record has been very well stored and cared for and is in almost like new condition with very little to no wear.
M - Our highest grading. This rating is reserved for sealed, unplayed records in brand-new condition
All of our records are cleaned and visually inspected under bright fluorescent light to ensure accurate grading. All records quality ship outside of their sleeves to prevent seam splitting during transit.
Quality ships in an LP box with a poly archival record sleeve between bubble wrap and cardboard inserts. Please ask any questions prior to purchase. Let me know if you would like additional photos.
