Description
Up for bid is a rare mono LP, "Dialogue," by Bobby Hutcherson, featuring Freddie Hubbard, Sam Rivers, Andrew Hill, Richard Davis, and Joe Chambers. See pictures for song list. This was released by Blue Note Records (BLP 4198). LP is a solid VG+ overall (I would call side 1 VG++, and side 2 a solid VG+), with light scuffs on either side. This LP looks and sounds great - plays with some surface noise (some intermittent crackle and tics). Surface noise may be greatly reduced with a professional clean. Interior labels are very clean. LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. Interior labels have "New York USA" in the address. The address on the back of the jacket reads 43 West 61st St., New York 23. There is an etched ear and "Van Gelder" is stamped in the matrix on either side. Jacket is VG+, no seam splits. There is visible wear on the top and bottom seams. All corners show wear. There is some discoloration on the back of the jacket (see pictures). Includes original paper inner sleeve. Throughout the month of December I will be listing more extremely rare, hard to find titles in very nice shape - from the estate of a serious collector.
