Bobby Hutcherson Happenings 1967 BLUE NOTE LIBERTY - VAN GELDER on side 1 runout only. First Repress.
Original inner sleeve has tape at the bottom. Sleeve is amazing, I have never seen anything this good - hard to believe this is over 50 years old! - some discoloration on back and one slight corner bump – graded at VG++ but it is close to NM. Vinyl is VG+ and plays really well – fantastic sound.
Play tested loud with Rega Planar P10 turntable/Apheta Cartridge/Luxman 550uXII amp/KEF R3 Speakers
Overall sound is outstanding, very clear, detailed, dynamic; great soundstage.
A1 no clicks, no surface noise
A2 slight surface noise during this quiet track but light and unobtrusive; a few light clicks during piano solo;
A3 no clicks, no surface noise;
B1 no clicks, some surface noise just as music fades at end of track;
B2 no clicks, no surface noise
B3 slight surface noise during this quiet track but mostly in the background and unobtrusive;
B4 surface noise as the initial drum intro fades, surface noise during quieter passages.
All vinyl is from my own collection and is graded visually using the Discogs/Goldmine Standard. Vinyl will be removed from outer sleeve and placed in resealable plastic sleeve.
