Description

From what I can tell (scouring Discogs) is that this is a Scorpion reissue. The reason for ambiguity is this has no barcode on it but it otherwise matches the description given for the matrix numbers etched in the dead wax. If you have any questions or doubts, please contact me for more info before buying.

With that said, this is a very nice copy of a pretty hard to find album — and, my goodness, what a line up: Hutcherson, Hubbard, Rivers, Chambers *and* Hill? Amazing. The cover is printed on the same standard of card used for the Blue Note Classics series. Great colours, no scuffing, but there is a small (1cm) dink on the bottom right corner which gets its own photo. The spine is solid and legible. Onto the back cover, that previously mentioned dink now shows up on the bottom left, and there's a single crease to the spine (right) side, though it doesn't show up on the front.

The vinyl looks great, though under some very bright light, it's possible to see some surface scuffs, which are normally caused by diabolical paper inner sleeves. However, please rest assured, these marks do not impact playback. The inner sleeve is a standard poly-lined white paper version (which makes me think those surface marks were caused during manufacturing, because I carefully handle my records).

As per, I ship vinyl back to back with the cover in a poly sleeve (to prevent seam splits) and I re-use sturdy pro cartons to protect their precious cargo.

Please have a look at my other listings of mostly vintage jazz vinyl.

Thanks for looking!
