Description
Artist: Bobby Lewis Title: Tossin' and Turnin' Label/Number: Beltone 4000 (M) Jacket condition: VG+ Record condition: VG+ Notes: The cover is in decent condition with some ring wear and some seam and corner wear detracting a little. In addition, the bottom seam is split and neatly taped for about 6 inches at the opening. The classic photo and other graphics on the front still look good as do the photo, notes and title listings on the back. The labels are in nice condition with a few light spindle marks on each side. The vinyl still has good gloss but it has enough light scuffs and scratches that a grade of VG+ seems appropriate. In addition, there appears to be a small crack for about a half inch on Side 2, Cut 1, but it does not affect the play at all. The record plays great with very little surface noise distracting from the sound quality. Grading: Grading is usually only visual unless there are obvious problems that need to be checked out. I did play this one with results as noted above. I use Goldmine standards with a VG++ added for items NOT QUITE up to M-. I try to be conservative and grade as though I were buying the record. Mono (M) or Stereo (S) is noted after catalog number. Don't hesitate to e-mail questions.
Mailing and costs: Shipping is via USPS, media mail, and fully insured, unless otherwise requested. Standard fee on these will be $5.00 including the cost of insurance and a new mailer and pads. Overseas costs will vary dependent upon the desires of the buyer but will be the actual shipping costs plus about $1.50 for the new mailer and pads.
