Here's an another great slice of soul from a truly underrated talent, Bobby Sheen! Both sides are really classy soul, with amazing arrangements and production-- some great (and rather unusual) piano on Something New... is particularly striking-- both sides are Muscle Shoals material, so the quality isn't too surprising! This is the mega rare white label promo issue!!! I'm putting up 3 more Northern promo records this week, all of which come from a collection of discs sent to a Portuguese record company in the 60's and 70's for review, to choose which records would be released locally. This is a guaranteed 100% American original record (MADE IN USA), and is totally unplayed, these records were stored in a warehouse in Portugal until just recently and were never touched. The record comes in its original plain white sleeve. You don't see these in this kind of condition much any more, so don't miss your chance, bid on it right away!
Please let me know if you are looking for any particular demo/promo discs from: Columbia, Epic, ATCO, Atlantic, Minit, Warner Brothers, Asylum, Cotillion, etc. from the 60's or 70's-- I still haven't sorted them all out yet but there are more to come soon!
