Description
Original 1959 classic by bobby Swanson & his sonics from anchorage alaska p.o box 493 on igloo recordings from 1959. Side 1 is Rockin little eskimo, a great rockabilly number written by officer macravish while side two is more doo-wop, substitute background vocals for guitar fills. Side 1 is 1:42 seconds side 2 is 2:42 seconds.
Condition- both labels have light ring wear, it's barely noticeable on side 1. while side one also has two stickers covering up the 'bmi' text. The red and white label also clearly as the igloo, caribou, and bear. Both sides 1 and 2 have been played but this record is still in vg+ condition. Because the dynamics of side 2, there is light surface noise during the intro, but it does not take away from the music. There are no scratches or gashes in either side of the record on the music, where you have to touch it to see if the needle will feel it. No scuff marks that deep in this vinyl, just like wear.
Both sides of the record were play tested on my technics- 235 which has a very sensitive needle. This record sounded great and did not skip, jump, or have any repeats. Really rare awesome rockabilly 45.
