Description
Black label with silver text, deep groove, stereo. 9 tracks recorded in NY in 1960. Leader, Timmons, piano; Sam Jones, bass; Jimmy Cobb, drums. 1 track is an unaccompanied piano solo. The record includes 3 of the most important compositions by Timmons. These are listed on the front cover.
Cover: Good The top edge has completely split with 8" of aging scotch taped applied to the edge. 6" split on the bottom edge. Some scuff marks on the spine corner of the front cover. Small crease on the front cover which is barely visible. Light aging on the front and back cover with some "foxing" along the bottom edge of the back cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. A very small number of light surface rub marks. These do not affect the sound. There are a small number of clicks which are extremely infrequent and, essentially, have an insignificant affect on the overall sound. I have included the (-) to adjust for this noise, however, the overall quality in close to Mint. Some of this light noise may be inherent in the pressing. Audibly checked.
