Up for bid is a rare mono White Label Promo LP "Devil Or Angel," by Bobby Vee. This was released by Liberty Records (LRP 3165). LP is VG++ , with a few faint scuffs and no spindle wear. LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. Stamped matrix info for side 1 reads LPR-3165 (this is at the six o'clock position in the dead wax) and KB-8776-N7" is stamped in the dead wax at the 12 o'clock position. Side 2 reads KB-8777-D2 (stamped at the six o'clock position) and LRP-3165-S1 D E-8 (stamped at the 12 o'clock position). Matrix numbers on both sides are hard to read, as they were stamped in the dead wax lightly. The jacket is VG, with several seam splits. There is a split on the top seam that starts at the front top left corner and travels toward the lip about four inches. There is another split on the top seam that starts near the top right corner and travels towards the spine about four inches. There is a split on the spine that starts at the top corner and travels downward about six inches. Most of the bottom seam is split. About six inches from the lip toward the spine has been reinforced with clear tape. There is writing in black marker on the front top right corner that reads "VOC." There is ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is a red promo stamp on the back of the jacket in the lower left corner that reads "Audition Record." Includes original inner sleeve. The cover of this LP has seen better days, but the strength of this set lies with the white label promo LP, in beautiful condition! Don't miss this rare gem!
