Bobby Wells – ‘Be’s That Way Sometimes’ / ‘Recipe For Love’ – Romur 0001 (US)

No introduction necessary, totally sublime Philly soul and a classic Northern dancer. Arranged by the legendary Leon Mitchell, band leader at the Uptown Theater in Philadelphia 1963-1973! Virtue-stamped 1966 original on the song’s writer Roscoe Murphy’s Romur label.

Condition: VG+ or thereabouts, visually a little worn, but I dare say this copy plays as well as these occasionally primitive 45s ever will (please listen to the clips). Clean labels (please see scans).
