This is an AWESOME promo 12” single from Bon Jovi!! YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME is the song of the 80s!! You think of the 80s and this song starts playing in your head. This promo was released intentionally with this jacket. They made a limited amount of these to shove it in the record labels face!! This was supposed to be the original album cover for Slippery When Wet, but the label said NO. After it’s monumental success, the band had these purposely made as a jab at Mercury. The original promos were released like all Mercury 12” promos; a plain white jacket ! When this became the hit it did on videos, radio, and every type of media platform from the 80s, the band put this out.
