Description
This is an unusual item indeed – a rare as hen’s teeth version of Bon Jovi’s ‘Slippery When Wet’.
Be aware that this is a mixed-release sleeve and record; although given pressing errors involved with the publisher and this album, it was potentially unknown by the owner and could even have been originally bought this way.
The sleeve is a very rare item, and was first released with this LP by mistake as a completely different sleeve design meant for the 12" single. This version was immediately withdrawn and only a few copies survived; this one is EX grade as has a top right corner crease and opening edge mark but they’re the only noticeable faults.
The disc matrix however shows the record itself to be the ‘sleeve-corrected’ European 1st press (plus without embossed printing company logo on sleeve variant), rather than the one known to have been released with the misprint sleeve (which has the embossed logo).
The disc hasn’t been play tested but only has non-feelable minor hairlines and sleeve-removal marks befitting an EX grade.
