Description
Vinyl was play tested through Focal Elegia's and it played as NM-. I numerically score the vinyl a 95 with the A-side a 94 and the B-side a 96. The driving issues are a bit of surface noise at the start of A1 (the instrumental, cited on the label as the first track though not on the sleeve) with a bit of surface noise between tracks and into the lead in of A3 and what could have been a couple of missed dust flecks on A6. There were also a couple of flecks on B4 however overall there was just a bit less surface noise. I actually played this two nights in a row and I was right back to February of 1987 when I first got this album on tape. It sounds so good and if you love this title (you must at least like it if you're looking at the ad) then you will love how fantastic this vinyl sounds. Just so so good. The excellent grade is relative to a couple of tiny surface marks; visually it is as close to NM as can be.
The sleeve is scored as EX with the most noticeable issues being corner wear, a crease within the bottom right area running 24mm, a couple of faint rub wear spots on the top seam (this stands out a bit because of the pink border) and directly below the word 'wet ' and indention running 4mm. The brown insert shows only faint wear and the other insert showed only a couple of very small discoloration spots.
