Original 1969 UK Liberty blue label stereo press LP.

The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band (also known as The Bonzo Dog Band or simply as "The Bonzo's"), were a band created by a group of British art-school denizens of the early 1960's. Combining elements of music hall, trad jazz, psychedelic rock and avant-garde art, the Bonzo's came to the attention of a broader British public through a children's television programme, "Do Not Adjust Your Set". This is their third album released in August 1969 to follow up on the series and features Legs Larry Smith tap dancing whilst playing the spoons!

This is the original issue with the lyric insert, the earliest A//2 B//2 matrices and matching 1-1-6/1-1-6 stampers of the first presses!

  The MacNeill Press Ltd matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some corner/edge wear and some light storage rubbing on the outer cover and a couple of small stains on the front cover. The spine is intact, slightly faded and fully readable, the lyric insert and the company inner are intact, slightly discoloured & in VG+ condition.   The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only one or two faint sleeve removal hairlines visible on each side, that do not affect play. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of only one or two faint spindle markings on either side.   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves. Overall, a really great, loud & clear listen!   The matrix nos. are; LBS-83257, A//2-420 stamper 1-1-6, B//2-420 stamper 1-1-6. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1969 UK stereo issue of this album!
