Description
The Bonzo Dog Doo dah band the doughnut in granny's green house liberty LBS 83158 with 12 page booklet A1 B1 first pressing.
These are very rare now and rarely turn up at action, this one is in great condition and comes with a mint 12 page booklet of strange illustrations, nightmarish psychedelia and pre python English eccentricity with some interesting music in he same tradition, sometimes jazzy and dance hall whilst the guitar sounds very much like Barrett on the humanoid boogie track... all in all its an inspired affair and we like it.
This along with Piper and Pepper and Satanic majesty are the real gems in the psychedelic cannon... don't miss it
The vinyl is in great condition, plays well and without any scratches, it does however have a strange reptilian imprint on some areas, this is due to the super emitex cleaner that was used back in the day, sometimes it wipes clean and other times it leaves the reptilian imprint on it, this is only seen when held up to a light and has no affect on the play and is hardly noticeable...I have tried to get it under the camera but alas it is still is difficult to see.. its that faint. Grading is difficult.. I Would say excellent +
The labels are NEAR mint.
The Gatefold cover is in excellent plus condition
The booklet is in near mint condition
Graded using the record collectors book which grades as follows-
MINT- the record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent- the record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/ or creasing.
Very good - the record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
