Description

This is Prestige Records PR 7340, Booker Ervin The Blues Book, a blue trident label, original mono issue of this classic record with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG(+) condition showing  marks on both sides but playing quietly throughout except for some light background crackle audible during bass solos. The glossy cover has a significant loss on the upper left but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent but show light spindle marks and a bit of wear by the hole.  This was my own "play" copy until I upgraded at considerable expense. This is an excellent initial "play" grade copy of this beautiful original mono issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondeck LP-12 with the mono button engaged.
